As a Fiberglass Technician, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting blueprints or other design documents to set specifications for fiberglass products
• Preparing and cutting fiberglass materials based on those specifications
• Mixing resins and hardeners to create a compound suitable for molding
• Applying layers of fiberglass onto molds, and using brushes or air guns to smooth out surfaces
• Operating machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, laminating, and pressing fiberglass materials
• Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring quality standards are met
• Repairing, replacing, or modifying fiberglass components as necessary
• Maintaining safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
• Documenting the process, materials used, and any issues encountered for reference in future projects or for quality control purposes
