Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Electrician to join our housing maintenance team in Columbus, GA. This full-time position involves handling electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance for residential properties. Candidates must be dependable, knowledgeable, and comfortable responding to occasional on-call service requests.
Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting in residential units
• Install outlets, switches, fixtures, panels, and wiring
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently and safely
• Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
• Respond to on-call maintenance requests as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an electrician (residential experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, safety procedures, and code compliance
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Compensation & Schedule:

• $18–$22 per hour depending on experience
• Full-time, steady employment
• Monday–Friday schedule with on-call responsibilities
