Tire & Break Tech

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tire and Brake Technician to join our team. As a Tire and Brake Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex tire and brake issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair tire-related issues, including tire balancing, rotation, and replacement
• Perform brake repairs, including pad replacements, rotor resurfacing, and caliper replacements
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as tire pressure checks, brake fluid changes, and wheel alignments
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems related to tires and brakes
• Use precision measuring tools to align wheels and brakes
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs
• Stay up-to-date with manufacturer updates, recalls, and technical bulletins

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in automotive technology or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a tire and brake technician or equivalent experience working with tires and brakes
• ASE certification in brake systems or equivalent certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of tire and brake theory, diagnosis, and repair techniques
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in cramped spaces
• Valid driver's license required (may be subject to change based on location)
