Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and certified Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work is completed to code, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
- Install electrical outlets, circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical hardware.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working condition.
- Keep up to date with the latest electrical regulations and technologies.
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
- Certification as an Electrician (Journeyman or Master Electrician) is required.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
