NOW HIRING: Experienced Fitter 
 Immediate Opening for day/night shift. Responsible for fitting and assembling structural steel component using MIG and/or stick welding while following blueprint and work instructions.  

Location: Tallapoosa, GA
Job Shift: Day (6am-6:30pm)/ Night (6pm-6:30am)
Pay Rate: 20-22+/ hr. based on experienced
MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY! IMMEDIATE OPENINGS!!



Key Duties:

• Measure, align, and fit structural steel components
• Read blueprint, drawings, and weld symbols
• Set up welding tools and equipment 
• Measure, cut, tack, weld, grind, and clean materials
• Read blueprints and weld symbols
• Operate welders, torches, drills, saws and other shop equipment
• Inspect finished welds for quality and accuracy
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean
• Report equipment and keep work area clean
• Report equipment or quality issues to supervisor

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months welding experience preferred
• Production welding experience is a plus 
• AWS certification helpful but not required
• Experience interpreting mechanical drawings required 
• Ability to pass welding test/ certification
• Basic math and measuring skills required 
• Able to work overtime/weekends when needed
• Knowledge of steel alloys, welding material, and fabrication tools preferred
• MUST be able to pass a Drug Screening
