General Nature of Work

• Works as a crew leader in the design, fabrication, installation, inventorying, surveying, maintenance, and replacement of city traffic control devices, including signage, channelizing objects, and striping. Operates light and some heavy construction equipment. Will perform computer design and inventory of signage and other traffic control devices. Will require some nighttime and weekend hours. Performs other duties as required.

Training and Experience

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with experience in Public Works activities, including responsible crew leader experience involving traffic control devices , or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience  which provides the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the duties of the position. Must possess a valid driver license.
