Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain quality control documents and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to quality procedures throughout each phase of production.
- Conduct visual, durability, and measurement assessments to meet quality standards.
- Reject unacceptable products, complete repair tags, and coordinate with the Production team or subcontractors for repairs.
- Educate internal production teams and subcontractors on quality control concerns and issues.
- Document quality issues and corrective actions taken.
- Develop and maintain process checklists, coordinating quality inspections.
- Work closely with Product Development to verify quality callouts for new products and maintain existing product standards.
- Report problems immediately to supervisors, departments, and senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expedite orders as needed.
- Stay updated with job knowledge through educational opportunities and technical publications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2+ yr experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced assembly environment.
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Data analysis and decision-making ability
- Ability to identify barriers and resolve issues
- Maintain quality management processes
- Coordination of safety and quality training
- Investigate and address quality issues
- Review product design for manufacturability
- Documentation and record-keeping
- Strong sense of urgency and ownership
