Labor Finders of Austell is looking for a carpenter. Someone who builds and repairs structures using wood and other materials. You will be working on construction sites, in workshops, and may also meet with clients.

Responsibilities
- Follow regulations: Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws
- Communicate: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other tradespeople
- Train: Teach junior carpenters and construction helpers
- Troubleshoot: Help resolve construction issues
- Calculate: Estimate costs and quotes for customers
- Design and install: Create and install structures like walls, floors, cabinets, and doors
- Inspect and repair: Check for damage and replace damaged parts
- Prepare: Take measurements, prepare the site, and source materials
Skills
- Physical: Able to handle heavy materials and tools, and work at heights
- Technical: Can read and interpret designs, and use power tools
- Safety-conscious: Follows safety guidelines and is aware of potential hazards
- Collaborative: Can work well with others and communicate effectively
Working conditions
- Carpenters may work outdoors year-round
- They may be exposed to dust, fumes, odors, and loud noises
