Construction Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Hands on construction Supervisor and Project Manager to oversee daily site operations and ensure that construction projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope. This role requires a leader who can manage on-site crews, enforce quality standards, and maintain a productive work environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, resources, and client expectations. Company truck will be provided during work hours and work phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities
- Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress and quality to ensure work is completed to standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Schedule labor, and equipment deliveries.
- Report site progress to office/ managers and help resolve any on-site issues.
- Maintain site logs, inspection reports, and other documentation.
· Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget.
· Coordinate internal resources and third-party contractors/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
· Develop comprehensive project plans.
· Manage project budgets, track costs, and report on financial performance.
· Lead project meetings, provide regular updates to clients, and resolve issues as they arise.
· Ensure all construction work is performed in accordance with contractual and quality standards.
· Oversee risk management and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
· Maintain detailed documentation throughout all phases of the project.
· Continuing hands on training new employees
· Perform routine maintenance
· Must be able to execute scheduling
· Must have in field experience
· Must have experience plumbing, HVAC, finish carpentry, and general construction.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of supervisory experience in construction.
· Experience plumbing, HVAC, finish carpentry, and general construction.
- Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials.
- Strong understanding of OSHA and job site safety requirements.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.
