General Labor
General laborers provide front-line support on job sites or in industrial settings.
Work can be day labor, part-time, or full-time, and may be in construction, landscaping, warehousing, manufacturing, or other manual labor projects
Material handling: Digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials; loading/unloading trucks, trailers, and equipment.
Site preparation & cleanup: Removing debris, hazards, and maintaining a safe, organized work area.
Assisting skilled trades: Supporting carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and others with setup, cleanup, and material handling.
Tool use: Operating hand tools (drills, saws, grinders, jackhammers) safely.
Safety compliance: Following OSHA standards, reporting unsafe conditions, and wearing required PPE (gloves, eyewear, hard hats, steel-toe boots).
Traffic control: Placing markers, cones, barricades, and flagging vehicles at construction sites.
