Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. You will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, performing necessary repairs, and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate the extent of damage to vehicles.
- Perform repairs on damaged body parts, including frame, panels, and structural components.
- Replace and fit new parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors.
- Repair or replace damaged glass and windows.
- Sand, buff, and paint vehicle surfaces to restore a factory finish.
- Use specialized tools and equipment for bodywork, welding, and alignment.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
- Communicate with customers and insurance companies regarding repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Continuously stay updated on new techniques and technologies in auto body repair.
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role.
- Certification in auto body repair or equivalent training.
- Proficiency with body shop tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
- Valid driver’s license.
