General Nature of Work 

• Works flexible hours as needed in the maintenance of City properties including mowing city rights of way and other city properties. Also works in the planting and maintenance of various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers on City properties, as well as the maintenance of irrigation systems. Performs other duties as required. Operates light equipment including small tractor, riding mower, backhoe, small dump truck, weed eater, and blower.

Training and Experience 

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with some experience in landscaping maintenance, Must have experience in the operation and scheduled maintenance of light equipment required for the job. Must process a valid drivers license.
