Hotel Maintenance Technician - Located in Auburn, AL

Core Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical
  • Respond to guest requests for repairs (e.g., fixing a leaky faucet or a broken light)
  • Perform routine checks on public areas, guest rooms, and equipment
  • Repair or replace damaged furniture, fixtures, and appliances
  • Maintain outdoor areas like pools, walkways, and parking lots
  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs or installations
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and supplies used
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly
  • Good communication and customer service mindset
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
Work Environment
  • Fast paced and varied, often requiring flexibility to handle emergencies or after-hours calls
  • Interaction with guests and hotel staff, so a professional demeanor is key
  • May involve climbing ladders, lifting heavy items, and working in tight spaces
