Box Truck Driver

The Box Truck Driver at a hospital linen service is responsible for the safe, timely delivery and pickup of clean and soiled linens between the hospital and designated service areas. This role involves operating a box truck in compliance with all traffic laws, hospital regulations, and company safety policies, as well as following assigned routes and schedules. Drivers must properly handle, transport, and separate clean and soiled linens to meet strict hospital infection control and sanitation standards, while maintaining a professional demeanor and meeting hospital requirements for a clean background and driving record.

In addition to driving responsibilities, the Box Truck Driver conducts daily vehicle inspections, reports maintenance or safety concerns, and ensures the truck and linen carts remain clean and organized at all times. The position requires physical stamina to load and unload linen carts, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a healthcare environment. Successful candidates are dependable, safety-focused, able to pass background and health screenings, and committed to supporting hospital operations through reliable and compliant linen delivery services.
