Experienced Scissor Lift Operator

Labor Finders of Augusta is currently seeking an experienced Scissor Lift Operator to fill a position for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in safely operating scissor lifts, with a focus on efficiency and following safety protocols. This position involves working at heights in a construction or industrial setting. All operators must wear a harness while working at heights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate scissor lifts to perform tasks such as overhead work and material handling.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure safe and proper functionality.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while working at elevated heights.
• Must wear a harness at all times when working at heights.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating scissor lifts.
• Valid scissor lift operator certification (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, etc.).
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to aerial work platforms.
• Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Must be comfortable with and adhere to harness safety requirements.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Experience in construction, warehousing, or a similar field is a plus.
