Pool Service Technician

Position Title: Pool Service Technician

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated Pool Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing residential and commercial swimming pools, maintaining water quality, performing routine maintenance, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and the ability to work extended hours as needed during peak seasons.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain residential and commercial swimming pools.
• Test and balance pool chemicals.
• Inspect pool equipment for proper operation.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on pool systems and equipment.
• Vacuum pools, brush walls, clean filters, and remove debris.
• Accurately document services performed and chemical usage.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
• Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and maintain an acceptable driving record throughout employment.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be available to work various schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs require.
• Must be willing and able to work long hours on a daily basis during peak seasons.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous pool service experience preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
• Ability to use technology such as smartphones or service management apps.
