Cabinet Finisher

About Us:

We are a well-established cabinet shop specializing in high-quality custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. We take pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail, and we’re currently looking to hire a skilled, full-time Cabinet Finisher to join our growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare wood surfaces for finishing through sanding, cleaning, and inspecting

• Apply stains, sealers, glazes, paints, and clear topcoats (lacquer, conversion varnish, etc.)

• Mix and match finishes to achieve custom colors and sheens

• Touch-up, repair, and refinish damaged pieces as needed

• Operate finishing equipment such as spray guns, booths, and sanding tools

• Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to all shop safety protocols

• Work closely with other team members to meet production schedules and quality standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in wood finishing or cabinetry finishing

• Strong understanding of wood finishing techniques and materials

• Ability to produce high-quality finishes consistently

• Familiarity with various finishing systems and spray equipment

• Attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship

• Reliable transportation to and from the shop

• Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in custom cabinet finishing

• Knowledge of color matching and custom finish creation

• Understanding of proper ventilation and safety practices in finishing areas.
