Automotive Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess Vehicle Damage
  • Evaluate the extent of damage to vehicles and create a repair plan.
  • Perform Repairs
  • Carry out repairs including dent removal, body alignment, and replacement of damaged parts.
  • Use Tools and Equipment
  • Operate various hand and power tools, welding equipment, and paint-matching technology to restore vehicles.
  • Communicate with Clients
  • Liaise with customers to explain repair processes, costs, and timelines, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
  • Collaborate with Insurance Adjusters:
  • Work with insurance companies to provide accurate repair estimates and documentation.
  • Conduct Final Inspections
  • Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and that vehicles are safe for use before returning them to customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficient in automotive systems and repair techniques, including knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Manual Dexterity
  • Ability to work with small parts and tools effectively.
  • Attention to Detail
  • Meticulous in work to ensure high-quality repairs.
  • Physical Fitness:
  • Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Communication Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.

Minimum Experience: 2 years and must be within the last 5 years
Hourly rate $20-$25/HR
