Job Summary

Leads a work crew of seasonal workers and community service workers in the maintenance of City properties, including facilities, cemeteries, and right of way. Oversee the use of an operate small landscaping maintenance equipment, including lawnmowers, weed caters, and blowers. Must be able to perform strenuous outdoor physical labor. Preform other duties as required.

Training and Experience

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with some experience in landscaping maintenance, including responsible crew leader experience in the methods and techniques used in the maintenance of large -scale landscaping activities. Must have experience in the operation and scheduled maintenance of small landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, weed eaters, and blowers. Must possess a valid driver's license.
